Advice and legal actions against state aid in the field of dog sterilization in Romania

In the absence of more public debates on the matter, the problem of canine sterilization also poses problems in terms of free competition.

Despite recent legislative advances in the management of stray dogs, Romania still lacks a transparent regulation for public subsidies in the process

of sterilization of stray dogs.

The public subsidies are granted only to the concessionary companies of the local councils (such as the cabinets of the Cluj-Napoca public veterinary university), at the expense of dozens of cabinets that have established trusting relationships in the market.

In this project we try to get involved with non-governmental organizations and private laboratories to generate lobby for a better public budget dissemination and the elimination of state aid to public companies.
